本コレクションは宮地伝三郎(動物学, 生態学)によって記されたノート類である.主に研究ノートで構成されているが, 代金支払控えや文献集もある. These are notebooks written by zoologist Denzaburo Miyaji that record his early investigations and researches. These notebooks were made mainly between 1921 and 1941, from when he was a student at Tokyo Imperial University to when he became a professor at the Faculty of Science at Kyoto Imperial University. During the period, his main activities were investigation of benthic animals in lakes and deep bays, and classification of lakes and deep bays based on the results of the investigation; the notebooks contain the results of his investigation and experiments, drafts of manuscripts.
